Kenneth Brian Kester

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Kenneth Brian Kester, age 62, of Youngstown, OH, passed away at Mercy Health-Youngstown. He was born in Youngstown on January 4, 1964.

The son of Ralph and Carol Eckman, Kenneth was a lifelong part of the community where his life began and his life’s path remained rooted in the place he called home. 

Besides his mother, Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nancy (Hepfner) J. Kester; sons, John Sforza, Paul Sforza, Brian Sforza, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and his dog, Gunner Lee.

Besides his dad, Kenneth was preceded in death his siblings, Jeff Kester, Bob Kester, and Sherry Mshar. 

Those who knew him will remember him through the family he cherished and the memory of his presence in their lives. He will be remembered with respect and remembrance by his family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by his memory.
