Kurt Larry Gudat

Canfield, OH - On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, Kurt Larry Gudat, age 75, passed into God's care. He was born on August 30, 1942 in Salem to the late Kurt Otto Gudat and Dora Ann (Fast) Romeo.

Larry leaves to cherish in his memory his siblings, Paul Dennis (Joyce) Gudat of Naples, Florida, Patricia Burgett of Mentor, Ohio, Sharon Gudat of Cary, NC, and Glenda Stokes of Tampa, Florida, his Aunt Patricia and Uncle Ernest Sigle of Canfield, nieces and nephews, Michael Adamo, Marlena Adamo, Mathew (Jenny) Wilson, Samuel (Yajuan) Towne, Brooke (Ron) Blevins, Danelle Ash, Audra (Daniel) Figueroa, Amanda (Scott) Byrns, Josh Gudat, Sara (Nicholas) Storm, Gabrielle Romeo, great nieces and nephews whom he adored, Evan, Olivia, Alexander, Dylan, Leah, Daniel, Braiden, Preston, Julia, Emily, Brandt and a host of cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ricky Ernest Gudat, Mary Ann Farmer, and Jacquelyn Romeo.

Larry lived out his lifetime residing in Ohio and Florida. He was a graduate of Greenford High School in 1960. He enjoyed a lifelong career as a successful entrepreneur of eight Italian Pizzeria Restaurants. Larry opened his first Pizzeria in Texas in 1964 and opened others throughout Florida. He retired from the restaurant business in 2000. Larry served in the U S Army reserves.
