On Friday, October 27, 2023, Lawrence "Larry" "Dog" Anthony Davis, age 70, of North Lima, OH passed away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born in Youngstown on August 22, 1953, to John Jacob and Mary Helen (Sanders) Davis.
Larry is survived by daughter, Abbie (Jim) Siwula of N Jackson; grandkids, Lilly Lowe, age seventeen and the apple of papa's eye, Nathen Siwula, age twelve, Avery Siwula, age eighteen; siblings, John "Butch" (Barbara Burch) Davis of Fort Charlotte, FL and Sharon Ruffner of Salem, Ohio.
Larry was a 1971 graduate of South Range High School and attended Youngstown State University. He spend most of his life in North Lima.
Throughout the years, Larry was a truck driver and a general handyman specializing in drywall. He was also a ten year cancer survivor.
Larry enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle and calling upon his friend, Bruce Brooks, whenever it was nice enough to ride. He also loved sharing the words of our savior, Jesus Christ and handing out Our Daily Bread booklets that he picked up from Good Hope Lutheran Church of Boardman where he was a member.
Lawrence was known as Larry, "Dog," Brother and Friend. He always said you can count your true friends on one hand. They will be with you through thick and thin and through the good times and the bad times.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Lewis "Pete" Davis, Nettie Seese and Sonja Wagner.

A memorial service will be held in Larry 's honor on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman, Ohio located at 98 Homestead Dr, Boardman, OH 44512. Calling hours will be from 11am-12pm. The service to commence directly after the calling hours. For anyone unable to attend the calling hours, but would like to watch the service, it can be viewed by live feed at 12pm.
