Surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Linda Sue Baldwin, age 72, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home after a two-year-long battle with cancer. She was born in Cleveland on August 10, 1954, the daughter of Washington and Marilyn Fuller. One of the six Fuller children who all grew up in Berea, Ohio, the family moved to a small farm in Grafton, Ohio, where Linda enjoyed horseback riding. She eventually settled in Mineral Ridge and lived her life to the fullest.
On June 12, 1976, Linda married the love of her life, Dennis Baldwin. Together they shared fifty wonderful years building a home, raising their family, and embarking on many adventures side by side. As a mother, she was deeply devoted to her three children, always providing love, guidance, and a warm home filled with cherished family traditions. That same love and those treasured traditions continued with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, in whose lives she played such a meaningful and joyful part.
Throughout her life, Linda worked in many different careers, including childcare and as a teacher's aide supporting children with disabilities, always treating each child as if they were her own. Beyond her work, she held a deep passion for the relationships she nurtured with family and friends, and was unfailingly there for everyone she loved.
Linda delighted in so many of life’s simple pleasures. She loved drives with her husband in his classic MGB, camping, kayaking quiet waters, playing games with family and friends, and birdwatching with her mother and sisters. She also loved setting up her Christmas Village and exploring wineries and lighthouses. Linda also carried a lifelong affection for The Wizard of Oz and the beloved Peanut characters.
Besides her husband, Dennis, Linda is also survived by her children, Lisa (Joseph) Merolillo, Nicholas Baldwin all of Mineral Ridge, Stephanie (Brian) Camilly of Madison; grandchildren, Elliana (Todd Burke) Merolillo, Lily Merolillo, Elissa Merolillo, Brian Camilly Jr, Blake Camilly; great-granddaughter, Joelle Burke; siblings, Bonnie (James) Kastler of LaGrange, Sandy (Jack) Grauel of Kipton, Sharon (Bob Clement) Kelsey of Elyria, Tom (Jennie) Fuller of Grafton, Teresa Abiva of New London as well as nieces and nephews.
Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The memories and traditions they shared will live forever in their hearts.
Memorial date and time will be shared at a later date.
