Linda Bragg Obituary

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, Linda Sue Bragg, age 73, passed away peacefully at Continuing Healthcare, Niles OH. Linda was born in Youngstown on October 10, 1950, to the late John Siepus Polyacko and Carrie Louise Gallaugher. She grew up on the West Side and graduated from Chaney High School.

Linda, a lifelong born-again believer, was gentle, strong, loyal, wise, slow to anger, quick to forgive, kind, giving, full of unconditional love, and compassionate. While she saw worth and potential in everyone, her main concern was always for their Salvation in Christ Jesus. Her faith guided her, and we are absolutely certain, with her last breath, she heard, “Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter into the Joy of your LORD!

When Linda said, “Jump!”, her son (in-law), Johnny, would say, “How high?” He was fully devoted and always treated her with the utmost respect and kindness. We are all grateful to and for him. The family would like to thank her special niece, Andrea (Ryan), who many times stood in the gap to help at a moment’s notice.

Linda had a heart of gold! She was fun and funny, loved Bible Trivia, BINGO!, slot machines, playing cards, good food, visiting with family and friends. When you were with her, you knew that you belonged and were accepted. Many have fond and hilarious memories of time spent with her.

Linda is survived by the ones she loved and cherished: daughters, Carrie and Dina (Johnny) with whom she she made her home, and son, Harley (Dorothy); grandchildren, Rudy, Katarina, Azaria, Alayna, Isaiah, Callan, Kylie, Kelis, Kesean, and Johnelle; a brother, John (Kerry); sister-in law, Linda; a brother-in-law, Allen; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held. To help defray the costs of her unexpected passing, material contributions may be directed to her daughter, Dina, or to:
