Linda Sue Kennedy

 On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Linda S. Kennedy, age 76, of East Palestine OH passed away at Aventura at Assumption Village. She was born March 12, 1948, in Vanceburg, Kentucky to Russell Neal and Ella Lee (Durmon) Elliott.

Linda married the late William Frederick Kennedy on June 2, 1967 and together they raised four daughters.

During her lifetime, Linda worked various office positions but her most valued and prized position was as a homemaker. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends playing board games and the time spent with her grandchildren playing video games. Linda was a bit of an outdoors person who loved camping with family and cherished the conversations had around the campfire.

She attended Rogers Assembly of God in her younger years and New Life Church most recently. 

Linda is survived by four daughters, Kathy (Matt) Walter of North Jackson Ohio, Dawn (Dave) Shevock of Rehoboth Beach DE, Cindy Kennedy (Bob) of East Palestine Ohio, Susie (Rich) Puckett of Dillingham AK; three sisters: Barb (Rick) Prasco of Lafayette GA, Cindy (Rick) Eaton of East Palestine OH, Pam Jackson (Kevin) Conway FL and a brother, Lee (Karen) Elliott as well as her sister-in-law Carol Elliott; ten grandchildren: Krysta (Ryan) Crooks, Daniel Walter, Leanna (Jordan) Collins, David (Catrina) Clemmer, Willie (Sam) Knapp, Alyssa White, Jonny White, Maddie Puckett, Richie Puckett, Gracie Puckett; and seven great-grandchildren: Elijah, Ezekiel, Marley, Olivia, Emberly, Sebastian, Bella.

Besides her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Elliott of Beaver Falls, PA.

Linda was a loving Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all.
