On Wednesday, October 28, 2020, Lorena Maye Lamb, age 76, of Youngstown, passed away and entered her heavenly home. She was born in Pikeville, KY on June 20, 1944 to Carl and Martha Justice.
My mom used to love to dance with her sister and there were many times furniture was moved out of the way in the living room to do the jitterbug with whomever was around. Lorena loved music and loved to sing, especially in church. She was an avid churchgoer for many years and even graduated Bible college. Lorena took a trip to Haiti on a mission with her church. She loved her church and the Lord very much. Lorena always looked like she was going to a formal when she was going to church. Her hair, makeup, and outfits were always so beautiful. She made a lot of friends that were truly dear to her at her church, The Calvary Temple in Lovely, KY. Lorena loved to watch birds and loved to drive, having that Justice lead foot. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and even started watching NASCAR with her son, BJ. Lorena became pretty well-known for her meatloaf, breakfast gravy, and banana pudding.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ramsey (Hylton); six grandchildren, Sharilyn Peery (Decker), Charlotte Metzger (Decker), Angelina DeFranco, Alana DeFranco, Kendra Baird, Logan Baird; great grandchildren, Owen Powell, Lukas Frid; brother, John David Justice (JD). Lorena has a very extended family. She dearly loved her sister and brothers, nieces and nephews. Family reunions in the early days were the best of times for all!
Besides her parents, Lorena was preceded in death by her sons, John David Lamb and Robert Gene Baird (BJ); siblings, Gene Justice, Clayton Justice and Robert (Bobby) Justice, Alberta (Justice) Bowen, Charles Justice, Harold Dean Justice.
