Louise Francois Gagne

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Louise Francois Gagne, age 87, of Howland OH, passed away peacefully in Warren OH.

Louise was the beloved daughter of the late Louis Berthiaume and Margaret Goncalves (August Goncalves).

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Richard Gagne of Jewett City, CT, Gail Gagne of Norwich, CT, John Gagne Jr. of CT, and Jacqueline Salvas of Youngstown, OH. In her later years, Louise made her home with her granddaughter Angel Sanga (Gagne) and her husband Christopher Sanga in Warren, OH. She found great joy in the company of their five children—Carter, Abigail, Alivia, Landon, and Adeline Sanga—whose presence brought warmth and laughter to her days.

Louise is also survived by her siblings: Eugene “Bob” Berthiaume and his wife Gayle of Chicopee, MA, Albert Berthiaume and his wife Carol of Chicopee, MA, and Linda Sullivan of West Springfield, MA. She leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor her memory.

Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" William Gagne Sr., and her brother Thomas Berthiaume.

Her life was marked by enduring love for family and a legacy that spans generations. Louise’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
