Maria Reina Rodriguez

On Friday, March 15, 2024, Maria Reina Rodriguez, age 89, of Youngstown, OH went home to be with the Lord.  She was born on January 2, 1935 in Yabocoa, Puerto Rico, to the late Juan Medina and Bernalda Rivera. 

Maria was a homemaker. She loved her family and friends and she enjoyed spending time with them around the table cooking and eating all different types of foods. She liked to stay connected to her loved ones and friends. Maria would often pick up random people and bring them to her home. Her home was a place where random people in need could be found sleeping on the couch or chair in the morning.

She is survived by her children, Millie (Heather) Medina, Mari (Manny) Rodriguez, and Edwin Rodriguez; sister, Cindy Medina;  as well as 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. 

Besides her parents, Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Herminio; son, Juan Sepulveda; son, David (Agnes) Rodriguez; daughter, Ana Morales; sisters, Tilda Medina, Cola Medina, and Candido Medina; and brothers, Pastor Medina and Roy Medina.

A celebration of life will be held in Maria’s honor at Christ Community Church of Campbell located at 531 Neoka Drive, Campbell at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024
