On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Marlene J. Weicht, age 87, of Girard, Ohio, passed away at Mercy Health-Youngstown. She was born July 13, 1936, in Central City PA to William C. and Pauline (Stull) Weicht.
Throughout her life, she worked diligently in the service industry, taking on various roles with dedication and care. Her faith was a guiding force; she was a devoted member of Abundant Harvest Church and had a deep heart for missions.
Marlene is survived by her two daughters, Peggy J. Behnke of Mansfield, Ohio, and Diana P. Custer of Youngstown, Ohio; her sister, Tami A. Klinger of Central City, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren: Desiree' Dorsey, Matthew Custer, Erik Diaz, Chad Donaldson, Daniel Behnke, and Abigail Behnke; and ten great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her daughter Gail Custer of Steubenville, Ohio, and her former husband Donald R. Custer of Somerset, Pennsylvania.
In keeping with Marlene’s wishes, there will be no local viewing or services.
