Michael David Howard

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, Michael David Howard, age 84, a lifelong area resident, passed away with his family by his side. He was born in Youngstown, OH on May 2, 1942, to John D. and Caroline (Hennessey) Howard.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael J. (Nancy) Howard of Boardman; grandchildren, Rhiannon Howard, Heather Howard both of GA, Paige (Trevor) Lopez, Michael R. Howard, Sydney Howard all of Boardman; great-grandchildren, Troy Lopez, Axel Lopez both of Boardman; siblings, Mary Grace Bucko, Sue (John) Cline, Carol (Bill) Cunningham, Tony Howard both of Boardman; and daughter-in-law, Karen Howard of GA.

Besides his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by his wife, Marcie (Warmoth) Howard and son, Denny Howard.

A 1960 graduate of the first four year class of the newly opened Cardinal Mooney High School, Michael went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Afterward, he became a Mahoning County Deputy Sheriff until his retirement.

Viewing and family to receive friends from 2:00 - 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Cremation & Funeral Service by Gary S Silvat Inc, 3896 Oakwood Ave, Austintown, OH 44515. Prayers and final viewing will begin at 4:30 pm.
