Michael Ronald West

On March 10th, 2025, Michael Ronald West, “Mikey”, of Boardman passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 28. Michael was born to the late Michele West on November 23, 1996, in Youngstown, Ohio. 

Michael graduated from Boardman High School and Mahoning County Career and Technical Center where he earned his certifications in welding. In addition to welding, Mikey loved fishing, spending time with his family, and working on his Jeep. 

He is survived by his grandparents who raised him since the age of one, and with whom he lived, Ronald Eugene “Poppy” and Sandra Marie “Mimi” (Clementi) West of Boardman; his beloved big sister Meranda West of Youngstown; aunt, Jennifer West of Boardman; cousin Nicholas Pondillo and fiancé Flecia Adkins, niece Evelynn and nephew, Hayden of Salem; best friend of almost 20 years, Calvin Taylor of Boardman; and his best buddy, his dog, Baxter. 

Besides his mother Michele, Michael was preceded in death by his cousin Cassandra Nicole West, his father Albert Ingram,  and his great grandparents.
