Norman Henry Ditman

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Norman Henry Ditman, age 72, of Austintown, OH passed away at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Youngstown on July 7, 1953 to Henry and Delores (Ruse) Ditman.

Norm is survived by his wife, Penny Ditman of Austintown; stepson, Matt (Sarah) Melnek; grandchildren, Connor, Landon, Taylor Melnek all of Sabina, OH; sister-in-law, Janie (Joe) Surman of Austintown, his good friend, Fred who he just out with just to pass the time, and last but not least his buddy, his dog, Rowdy.

Besides his parents, Norman was also preceded in death by his beloved pup, Gigi.

Norm loved hunting, fishing, gardening, a good construction project and keeping his hand busy especially fixing things. He never refused giving his time to help his family and the people he cared about but most of all Norm love spending time with his family and grandchild.
