Patricia Helen (Balas) Lolakis

On Friday, May 29, 2026, Patricia Helen(Balas) Lolakis, aged 84, passed away at Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman, OH.  She was born March 2, 1942, in Youngstown, OH, to Andrew and Helen (Suiach) Balas.

Patricia was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kristina Eckman-Wright, and her son, Kevin Redoway. She also embraced her role as a stepmother to Anthony Lolakis. Her family extended to include her beloved grandchildren, Alycia Torres, Brittney Torres, Brian Torres, and Mark Redoway, as well as her great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Adrian, Ayden, Dominic, and Lucas. Patricia shared a special bond with her brother, Robert Balas, and his wife, Diane.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Emmanuel Lolakis. Patricia and Emmanuel shared a love for dancing that brought them joy throughout their years together. Their time spent dancing remains a treasured memory for those who witnessed their connection.

Patricia had a zest for life that shone through in everything she did. She enjoyed spending time at the horse track and found happiness in shopping excursions. A social butterfly at heart, Patricia loved being out and about with her girlfriends, creating countless memories filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Her legacy is one of love, warmth, and an enduring spirit that touched everyone she encountered. May Patricia’s memory bring comfort to those who knew her and serve as a reminder of a life well-lived.
