Robert Domalewski

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Robert "Rob" Domalewski, age 55, of Austintown, OH passed away at home of an acute natural medical event. He was born in Youngstown, OH on May 19, 1970 to Frank and Alicja (Wysocka) Domalewski.

Rob is survived by his sister, Ivett Domalewski, his bonus family, Dawna Ohlinger, Missy "Snuggie" Litten, George "Geo" Litten, Danielle "Hotsie Totsie" Jones and her children, Victoria "Mini Me," and Evan. The names in quotes is how Rob referred to each of them.

Rob was the best, most loyal, protective and supportive friend a person could ever want. He was a man of his word who valued honesty and loyalty. He was also known to befriend his friends’ parents, such as Dawna’s parents and his bonding with Missy’s father, Mike.

Rob had a heart of gold which was evident with his random acts of kindness like when he paid for a veteran’s meal or an elderly woman's groceries. He was a fan of celebrating Halloween and an even bigger fan of both Michigan football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rob enjoyed long walks. One of his  favorite places was Millcreek Park in Boardman. He was also quite the foodie and enjoyed his fresh grown radishes and cucumbers from his sister’s garden.

Rob worked at Cubbison Company for 24 years in production. He was also a proud member of the Local Teamster Union and a strong advocate for workers' rights. Anyone who knew Rob knew he loved his Chevy trucks.

Over the last 20 years, he spent many holidays with his friends and sister, watching football and eating wings with Geo, and shared many laughs and deep conversations with Missy and George. There was never a shortage of love. But more recently, after a bit of exposing his big smile and heart, he became a safe place for love and a protector of peace for Danielle.

Rob is now resting peacefully with both of his parents, Frank and Alicja.
