Robert "Ironman" Rosenberg Sr. Obituary

Robert James Rosenberg Sr., age 61, was born on July 13, 1964, and peacefully entered eternal rest on February 2, 2026, after a courageous and resilient battle with liver disease.

Robert was a proud graduate of The Rayen High School, where his strong work ethic, determination, and competitive spirit were already evident. He then proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying that same sense of duty, honor, and strength throughout his life.

He was the beloved son of the late Albert Rosenberg and Mike and Mary Novak.

Robert was a true fighter. Throughout his illness, he endured tremendous pain and hardship with remarkable strength and determination. He proudly called himself “The Ironman,” a name he lived up to every day. He outlived medical expectations and continued pushing forward with resilience, courage, and heart, inspiring everyone around him.

A hardworking provider, Robert dedicated over 35 years to working in aluminum and steel factories. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and pride in providing for his family. He was gifted with his hands—skilled in craftsmanship, repairs, and gardening. He had a true green thumb and loved planning flowers and helping things grow.

Robert had a competitive and joyful spirit. He loved bowling and was an active member of multiple bowling leagues, finding friendship and purpose in the game. He also enjoyed cards and chess and loved a good challenge.

Above all else, Robert treasured his family. He deeply loved his wife, Elizabeth Rosenberg, who was his best friend and greatest love. He was a devoted father figure to his stepdaughter, Olympia Rodriguez, whom he loved as his own, and a caring stepfather to John Tyri Rodriguez. He was a loving father to Brandon (Angie) Anderson, Tabitha Rosenberg, and Tiffany Rosenberg.

He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.

Robert is survived by his siblings: Sue (Jim) Baglama, John Rosenberg, Albert (Debra) Rosenberg, Michele (Ted) Helminiak, Debra (Ron) Mayer, and Lisa (Jonathan) Tennant.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Robert “Robbie” Rosenberg Jr. , and sister, Cindy (Al) Hall.

He also shared a lifelong bond with his best friend, Frank Langham, whose friendship was rooted in loyalty, laughter, and brotherhood.

Robert lived with integrity, strength, and love. He helped others, stood firmly for his family, and never gave up—no matter the odds.

Though his passing leaves a deep void, we find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain. The Ironman now rests. His legacy of strength, devotion, and love will live on forever.

Robert James Rosenberg Sr. will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
