Roger Allen Scott Sr

On May 12, 2025, Roger Allen Scott Sr., age 69, of Youngstown, Ohio, passes away at home peacefully surrounded by family. While Roger was born in Youngstown on August 19, 1955, to Clair and Betty Scott, he was raised by William and Mildred Scott, his paternal uncle and aunt.

Roger was devoted to and survived by his long-term companion of thirty-nine years, Wendy Johnson; children, Roger Allen (Robin) Scott Jr, Brian Scott, Michelle (Herb) McGuire, Melissa (Terry) Quickle, siblings, Alberta Guy, Mary Scott, Patty Woodley, Robbie Scott, Mickey Hemphill; cousins with whom he was raised as brothers, Bill Scott, Dave Scott; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and aunt and uncle who raised him, Roger is also preceded in death by his son, Steve Scott; siblings, Linda Burkholder, Rich Scott, Gary Scott, Terry Scott; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Scott.

Roger was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and will be remembered for his kind heart, love of motorcycles but mostly for his unwavering love for his family.
