Sandra F. (Valot) Varner

Sandra F. Varner, age 82, of Vienna, Ohio, passed on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, Ohio.  She was born in Niles, Ohio on February 4, 1942 to Richard and Grace (Shaffer) Valot.

Sandra was a 1960 graduate from Niles, McKinley High School and was later employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Howland Police and Dispatch. She enjoyed caring for her four cats and attending craft shows and flea markets with her husband, where they had a standing booth selling rings and other jewelry.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Dennis Varner; daughter, Valerie (Robert) Smaldino; stepsons, Dennis Varner, Christopher Varner; grandchildren, Gianni, Grace, Mia, Brandy, Katie; great-grandchildren, Mason, Carmen, Riley; and sister, Carol Allen.

Besides her parents, Sandra was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Doran.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The family will welcome friends ONE HOUR prior at 2:00pm at Cremation & Funeral Service by Gary S Silvat Inc, 3896 Oakwood Ave, Austintown, OH 44515.
