Sandra Lee Chiarello

On Friday, March 14, 2025, Sandra Lee Chiarello, age 81, of Austintown, OH, passed away at her residence. She was born on August 10, 1943, in Youngstown, OH to Sam and Gertrude (Rice) Chiarello.  

Sandra graduated from Liberty High School and spent her early years in Girard before marriage. She retired from GE after 30 years as a mechanic on high-tech machinery.

She had a deep passion for life and was an avid camper who enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach. A devoted Cleveland Browns fan, she served on the board of directors for the Browns Boosters and embraced her love for the team wholeheartedly. She also had a talent for cooking and took great pleasure in preparing meals for those she loved.  

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Petrosky and Nicki (Joe) Beil; sister, Lisa Leon of Arizona; her brother, Rob (Linda) Chiarello; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sam John Petrosky II; her sisters, Diane Chiarello and Cathy Brickman; and her brother, John Chiarello.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sandra’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
