Sherry Catoline Obituary

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Sherry Catoline, age 64, of Boardman, OH passes away surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born in Youngstown, OH on November 20, 1960 to Louis J. Catoline and Pauline D. Ackerman.

A uniquely wonderful person, Sherry enjoyed antiquing, flea markets, crafting, and gardening. She was presently working at FCS Americorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program but Sherry most enjoyed being with family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Sherry is survived by her mother, Pauline D. Ackerman; sister, Brenda L. Connolly; nieces, Brittany Connolly, Ariana C. Carfios; nephew, Ryan P. (fiancee, Amanda Gless) Connolly; great, nieces and nephews, Ray Ray, Carmen, Antonio, Lorenzo, Luna Rose, Tabby and Gabby; cousins, Chrissie (Rick) Falter, David Yohman, Janet (Judy Strawn)Yohman, David "DJ" Justin (Mandi) Yohman,  Jennifer Hoffman, Kristen (Charlie) Swanson.

Besides her father, Louis, Sherry was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Byron Hillis and Dessie Elizabeth Doggett, Eugene and Elizabeth Taraszewski; aunts, Peggy Ann (Travis) Noblett and Christine (John) Botirius; and cousins, Larry Cook and Jody Cook.

Viewing and family to receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Cremation & Funeral Service by Gary S Silvat Inc, 3896 Oakwood Ave, Austintown, OH 44515. Burial will take place in Green Haven Memorial Park.
