On Thursday, May 2, 2024, Tami Renee Ballas, age 58, of Youngstown, OH passed away at her residence in Youngstown, Ohio. She was born on May 26, 1965, in Meadville, PA to Robert and Shirley Ballas.

She found so much pride in taking care of others. Tami was a long time fan of Stevie Nicks and loved the fact that they both shared the same birthday, May 26th. Some of her favorite things were sunflowers, dragonflies, the color purple and going to Florida to visit family and enjoy the beach.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Ballas and his partner, Vincent Matos both of Youngstown, OH; sisters, Jeannette Waxler of Youngstown, OH with whom she made her home, Julie (Joe) Bommarito of Ocala, FL; brother, Bob Ballas of New Port Richey, FL; niece, Tracie (Mike) Kennedy of Youngstown, OH; great niece, Reilly Kennedy and last but not least, her dog, Allie Mae and Gizmo, her granddog.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ballas; mother, Shirley Snyder; sister, Cherylann Stiffler; brother, Brian Ballas and her dog Abbie.
To honor Tami’s wishes there will be no public calling hours. A private celebration of life will be held in her honor with family.
