Thomas Lee Hyde

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024,  Thomas Lee Hyde, age 66, of Greenville PA,  passed away peacefully at UPMC-Jameson, New Castle PA with his son and granddaughter by his side. He was born March 30, 1958 in Lancaster OH to Robert Hyde and Donna (Manes) Hyde.

After high school, Thomas honorably served in the US Army.

He was passionate about music, working out, writing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Tom loved the Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball.

He forever loved Polly Hyde, his wife and long-time partner for many years.

Thomas is survived by his son Dustyn Hyde, daughter Jami Hyde, son-in-law Sam, and siblings Jackie, Brian, James, and Melissa, who all loved him very much. He was also blessed with 6 grandchildren whom he adored and his toy poodle, Tyler, who helped him in his final days.

Tom was a man of few words but was a great man to people who knew him and will be greatly missed. Heaven gained an angel.

His family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles located at 1936 East Main St in Lancaster, Ohio at 6pm.
