On December 11, 1992 he married his longtime love, the late Darlene Cataline McGhee and together they had one son, the late Mark Allen McGhee.
Tom was employed by General Motors in Lordstown and retired after 33 years of employment. Following his retirement, Tom could be found volunteering for a number of local charities, providing transportation for the sick and elderly which included family, friends and neighbors.

Closest to him was his sister-in-law, Lisa-Cheryl "Ace" Jack Ridenbaugh (Jim) of Wesley Chapel Florida and their children who adored their Uncle Tom - Victoria Jack, Brittany Kretzinger (Matt), and Matthew Jack all of Florida. He will be especially missed by his beloved cat, Missy, whom he affectionately called “Psycho”
In addition to his parents, his loving wife Darlene, and his beloved son Mark, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Merle Adolphson.
Tom's family would like to thank all doctors, nurses, and staff involved in his care at both Mercy Health ICU and Hospice of the Valley for their exceptional care of Tom during his recent illness.
