Vincent Nicholas Luchison

After a brief illness on June 7, 2024, Vincent Luchison, age 95, of Lake Milton, passed away at home with his family by his side. He was the son of Joseph Sam and Margaret (Rango) Luchison. Margaret passed when Vincent was only two years old and was raised by his father’s second wife, Rose, the only Mom he ever knew and of whom he spoke of very highly.

Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine (Pellegrini) Luchison, with whom on June third, he celebrated their thirtieth anniversary; his beloved son, Vincent (Laura) Luchison, who never left his side during his final days; daughter, Margaret (Paul) Tascik; grandchildren, Vincent Luchison, Danielle (Jeff) Worstell, Suzanne Luchison, Erik Tacsik, Nathan (Camille) Tacsik, great-grandchildren, Leah, Kadence, Vincent, Madison, Miley, Jaxson, Jacob and Taylor; great-great-grandchildren, Aurelia and Lucia. Vincent was also loved by Josephine’s children, Marijo Mortaro, Doreen Pellegrini, Maria (Peter) Pacalo; grandchildren, Gina, Alicia, TJ, Abby, Anthony; great-grandchildren, Camilla, and Lou. He will be missed by his entire family.

Besides his parents, Vincent was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Luchison, Louis Luchison; Jo’s daughter, Linda Palombaro and her grandson, Vincent Centofanti.

Vincent honorably served his country in the United States Army. Afterward before becoming a Police Officer with the Youngstown Police Department. He was also well known around Youngtown for his delicious homemade sausage and meatball recipe. He was an expert cook and his creation of “sauseege” peppers and onions was always a big hit at all the family celebrations.

Family to receive friends from 10:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1254 Grandview Road, Lake Milton, Ohio 44429.
