Vita Angela (Capozzi) McCormac

On Friday, December 5, 2023, Vita Angela (Capozzi) McCormac, age 79, passed away peacefully at Washington Square Nursing Center in Warren. She was born on November 17, 1944, in Greensburg, PA to Anthony A. and Anna L. (Aleandri) Capozzi. 

Vita was a warm and welcoming person who showed love to everyone. She proudly displayed her Italian heritage through her loving ways and especially in the foods she prepared for friends and family.  Vita loved to prepare the dishes she learned to cook as a young person. Spending time around the table watching her family eating the Italian meals she made brought Vita immense joy and happiness. She was also a devoted grandmother to her granddaughter Alexis Clevidence.  Through the years they made many happy memories that will never be forgotten.

Vita is survived by her son, Lee Clevidence; granddaughter, Alexis Clevidence; siblings, Carmen Capozzi, Regina Capozzi, Anthony Capozzi and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, Vita was also preceded in death by her siblings, Vicki Powers and John Capozzi.
