William James Crowe

William James Crowe 50, of Wellsburg, West Virginia, formally of Cortland Ohio, passed away at Saint Joseph Hospital on July 9, 2024.

He was a 1992 graduate of Lakeview High School and attended Bowling Green University. William was gregarious, as he enjoyed being with people and friends and was known for lending a hand to those who needed him. He was a recognized athlete and an avid sportsman who enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State football teams.
 

His family will sadly miss Bill; son Collin Crowe of Bazetta, parents, Charles and Ruth Ann Crowe (Walls), of Cortland, brothers Bradford and Benjamin, and niece and nephew Lucy and Sullivan Crowe.
 

Most recently, Bill was Operations Manager for Voto Corporation in Steubenville, Ohio.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public funeral. A private family funeral will take place in the days ahead. A “Celebration of Life” will be hosted in the later part of August for family, friends, and coworkers. Details to be announced.
