William T. George, affectionately known as "Gouch," passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on December 4, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Alexander and Dorothy (Bianco) George.
Gouch was a devoted father to his daughter, Tricia Kennedy of Poland, Ohio, and son-in-law, Mike Kennedy, as well as a proud and loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Mikey Kennedy III, Aloura Kennedy, and his special little buddy, Harper Kennedy. His favorite joy in life was caring for Harper, and their bond brought him great happiness. He is also survived by his sister, Karen George of New York, and many friends and extended family who will deeply miss his presence.
Gouch was well-known for his time as the owner of Gouch's Jambar, where his friendly spirit and infectious laughter brought people together. His generosity, humor, and larger-than-life personality made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a true character, always quick with a joke and a smile, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held in January, and details will be shared with loved ones closer to the time.
