William Henry Roolf

On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, William Henry Roolf, age 76, passed away peacefully at UPMC Jameson, New Castle, PA. He was born  September 2, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was one of seven children born to Norman J. and Loretta C. (Krealing) Roolf. 

He shared a deep love for the outdoors and cherished spending time hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons.

William is survived by the mother of his children, wife and companion, Ann K. (White) Roolf; their children, Andrew (Terri) Roolf, Ken Roolf, and Lisa Roolf; grandchildren, Tyler  W. (Laura) Roolf of New Castle, PA and Hunter L. (fiance' EIla Hilton) Roolf of Volant, PA; brothers, James M. (Kim) Roolf and Lawrence J. (Julie) Roolf, sisters, Loretta C. Atkinson and Margaret "Peggy S. (Thomas) Pursley; sisters-in-law, Mary (Chuck Kerzan) White, Vera White, June Roolf, Vicki Roolf; nieces, Sara, Michele, Nicole, Meredith, Sara Beth, Carolyn, and Danielle; nephews, Len Jr., Michael, Douglas, Peter, Alex, and Adam; and extended family members Ben, Tina, and Becky Emery.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Norman J. Roolf Jr. and Leonard P. Roolf Sr.; and brothers-in-law Thomas White and Barry Atkinson.

William’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. May his love for the outdoors continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
