William James Sarisky Jr

On Monday, December 30, 2024, William (Bill) James Sarisky Jr., age 74, of North Jackson OH passed away at Hospice House. He was born November 26, 1950, in Youngstown OH to William and Katherine (Wooley) Sarisky.

Bill graduated from Chaney High School and went on to work for Syro Steel and then spent 33 years at General Motors.

He enjoyed spending time in nature hunting, but especially coon hunting, fishing at Lake Erie, and in his barn fixing something.

Bill is survived by his loving wife,  Bertha "Candy" Mae (Corbin) Sarisky;  daughters, Christine Sarisky, Melissa (Ricardo) Rodriguez, Jennifer (Winston) Layton, and Deidrai (Anthony) Woolf;  siblings, Karen Patterson, Joe (Jenny) Sarisky, Gregory Sarisky, Gary Sarisky;  grandchildren,  Emily (fiance Logan), Elena, Avery, Armani, Ariela, Ace, Zaidee; two nephews, one great niece, and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathrine Sarisky.

Family will receive friends for a memorial service on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at Cremation & Funeral Service by Gary S. Silvat, Inc., 3896 Oakwood Avenue, Austintown, OH 44515.  A dinner will follow at New Covenant Church 1606 Salt Springs Rd. Lordstown, OH 44481.
