William Robert Toman

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, William Robert Toman, age 93, of Youngstown, OH, passed away at home with his family. He was born in Youngstown on April 12, 1930, to Joseph and Mary (Fedration) Toman.

William is survived by his son, Ronald M. (Linda) Toman, of Youngstown, grandchildren, Joseph (Polly Johnston) Toman, Emily Toman Best, Richard “Bud” (Alyssa Mitolo) Shaffer, Pamela Toman; great-grandchildren Kyle Doman, Chase Toman, Hailey Toman, and Cammie Toman.

Besides his parents, William was also preceded in death in 1998 by his beloved wife, Dorothy Rushen Toman who he married on April 18, 1957; siblings, Robert, Joseph, John, Frank Toman, Helen Balog, Marian Pierko and grandson, Hunter Toman.

William honorably served his country in the United states Army from September 1951 until August 1953.
