William "Bill" Francis Noel

On Friday, May 17, 2024, William "Bill" F. Noel, age 78, of North Jackson, OH passed away peacefully at home under the care of Buckeye Hospice, with his former wife and companion Elaine, at his side. He was born November 10, 1945, in Youngstown OH, to Willis Noel and Margaret (Ellis) Noel.

He was a 1963 graduate of East High School. After high school, he proudly served our country in the Marine Corp Reserves from 1963-1969. "Bill"  retired in 2000, from General Motors after 30 years of employment.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, bowler and golfer.

Bill is survived by his son, Richard Noel; siblings, Richard (Jeannie) Noel, Judy (Roy) Miller, Rosemary Morell;  former wife and companion, Elaine Noel Sarnoff; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Ellen and brother Ronald.

Per Bill's request, there will be no services.
