Our charge for an traditional/public or private burial includes:
Basic services of funeral director and staff
Local removal of deceased from place of death (one man assist)
If over 25 miles from funeral home add $2.00/mile
Embalming of the deceased (normal case)
Basic restoration & cosmetics, dressing, casketing and placement of casket
Coordination with legally authorized person(s) to execute contract authorizing funeral home to perform services and preparation of death certicate and all legal documents/authorizations required under Ohio OR PA law
Required Certificates/Letters/Authorizations/Permits:
Obtain Certified Copies of Death Certificate (if necessary)(cash advanced item) from the Ohio Department of Health and Burial Permit ($3.00 cash advanced item/permit)
Funeral Director and/or attendants presence at public viewing/calling hours (2 hour maximum)
Funeral Director at funeral service (1 hour maximum)
Local transportation to the cemetery in funeral home Lead/Service Vehicle (in procession or on our own)
If over 25 miles from funeral home add $2.00/mile
Placement of local newspaper death notices (cash advanced item over and above )

MOST CEMETERY MAUSELEUMS REQUIRE EMBALMING FOR EMTOMBMENT!
Additionally, most cemeteries require that an outer burial container be used to encase the casket when ground burial takes place.
Burial Vaults range in price from $500.00 to $9050.00.
Merchandise and cash advanced items are additional to the $1910 service charge.
All funeral homes doing business in the State of Ohio are required to collect sales tax on all items of personal tangible property.
