Our charge for an immediate burial (excludingany attendant rites or ceremonies) includes:

• Basic services of funeral director and staff

• If over 25 miles from funeral home add $3.50/mile

• Refrigerated shelter of  non-embalmed remains for up to five days or portion thereof

• If over Five days or portion thereof add $30/day or portion thereof

• Coordination with legally authorized person(s) to execute contract authorizing funeral home to perform services and preparation of death certicate and all legal documents/authorizations required under Ohio OR PA law

• Required Certificates/Letters/Authorizations/Permits:

• Obtain Certified Copies of Death Certificate (if necessary)(cash advanced item) from the Ohio Department of Health and Burial Permit ($3.00 fee not included)

• Bathing and dressing of the deceased when possible
• Placement of deceased in burial container (cost of container additional)

• Transportation to the cemetery in funeral home Service Vehicle to either:

• GRAVE, OPEN/CLOSE GRAVE, VAULT, MARKER, INSTALLATION OF MARKER, CARE OF THE GRAVE
• OTHER BENEFITS MAY BE AVAILABLE FROM VETERAN'S COUNTY OF RESIDENCE OR FEDERAL VETERANS' ADMINISTRATION
• Placement of local newspaper death notices (cash advanced item)

  Alternative containers encase theremains and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials(with or without an outside covering). The alternative containers we provide are: Corrugate Fiberboard (HeavyWaxed Cardboard).
